Texas Buffalo

Buffalo or bison, either way these are magnificent beasts. Texas has its own buffalo herd, one of the most genetically pure herds of southern plains buffalo in existence. They owe their existence to Charles and Mary Goodnight who saved calves and started the herd when there were only a few hundred left of the millions who once existed.
